Less than a month after releasing the iOS 6.1 for latest idevices, Apple just released iOS 6.1.2. Meanwhile Apple released 6.1.1 for iPhone 4S devices addressing critical connectivity related issues. However, it seems like it couldn’t solve some problems and they rushed to release 6.1.2 to fix few other minor issues that were left behind.
On early February, we reported on the release of new untethered Jailbreaking tool called “Evasi0n”. This tool is currently available for download for all the major OS platform and can be used to Jailbreak iOS 6.1.2 on most of the devices (except Apple TV 3).
Apple mentioned clearly on their official change log for iOS 6.1.2 that it “Fixes an Exchange calendar bug that could result in increased network activity and reduced battery life.” So, if you are still using 6.1.1 and got issues with your device, you should download the 6.1.2. You can either download over the air (OTA) or from the links given below.
In case if you are using a Jailbroken device, I would suggest you to download the IPSW file and update them manually so that you don’t loose your jailbreak. I hope that make some sense to you.
