“Nokia has truly turned around and have done an excellent job of tying the MSFT OS & their hardware. This is a perfect arrangement and they have set extremely high standards for any other windows phone competitor. They are also making sure they enter the LTE segment with Lumia 900. This is a step in right direction …” said S. Kanthi, a Nokia Lumia 800 user from California. However, like Mr. Kanthi there are lots of Windows Phone users who shared their great experiences with this great device. This is definitely a positive move by both Nokia and Microsoft indeed.
Initially when Nokia introduced it’s Lumia 800, it was available in three different color which are Cyan, Magenta and Black. Yesterday Nokia has officially confirmed the availability of the fourth color version of this phone which is White. However, we might need to wait till the end of this month to see this device hitting the shelves.
It’s being told that the white Lumia 800 would be similar to white Nokia N9 which is bit glossy rather than the matte finish. Even though white color catches the fingerprints but seems like Nokia has managed to get rid of that problem somehow which is really fantastic.
If you are note quite familiar with Nokia Lumia 800, watching this review might help you to get littler better idea.
Except the color, White Lumia 800 remains as we know it from before. It has the same 3.7 inch AMOLED display, Carl Zeiss 8MP wide angle lens, 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor, Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset, 3D Graphics, support for HSDPA 14.4 Mbps & HSUPA 5.76 Mbps internet connection. This device comes with Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango.
The white Nokia Lumia 800 is due to be rolled out first in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Scandinavia, Finland, Poland and Switzerland, with other countries to follow.
