Microsoft’s iPhone Trade-in Offer is Live
Starting from September 27th, Microsoft is offering iPhone users to trade their phone with a minimum $200 gift card. In case if any customer wants to use their gift card to purchase an Windows Phone, they are also welcome to do that.
According to Microsoft, this offer applies to all iPhone 4s and iPhone 5 owner. However, interested customer must visit Microsoft selected retail stores in US (including Puerto Rico) or in Canada. This offer can not be applied on online stores. Microsoft also confirmed that, they would only except iPhone 4s or iPhone 5. Even though Microsoft didn’t confirm anything about the iPhone 5S or 5C (in case if anyone is interested) or the older iPhone 4 but we can still assume that Microsoft won’t accept those devices.
In order to be eligible for this trade-in program, interested individual should include the power cord along with the device if possible and also the user must make sure that the device is not password protected.
Even though Microsoft didn’t mention anything about the maximum trade-in value but surely that won’t go below $200. However, in this case retail store’s managers or sales associate’s verdict would be the final word. Number of trade-in is limited by 1 per customer.
