World known luxury car manufacturer, Ferrari has unveiled their latest hybrid model car called “LaFerrari”. At the Geneva Motor Show, Ferrari has introduced their new car which would cost you whooping 1 million Euro. Yes you got it right, that’s little over $1.3 (USD) million.
However, LaFerrari is being highlighted throughout the tech world not because of its price tag rather because this car features mini iPad on the passenger seats. If everything goes according to the plan, then LaFerrari would be the first car that features two Apple iPad on board as a part of the entire entertainment system.
On the press release, Ferrari states,
The FF is also now seamlessly integrated with Apple technologies, thanks to direct access to the infotainment system via SIRI voice commands and the adoption of two iPad Minis as the entertainment system of choice for the rear seat passengers.
Back in April, Ferrari’s Luca di Montezemolo had a two hour meeting with Apple CEO Tim Cook. Many believe that this is the outcome of Apple’s continuous effort to collaborate with other high tech companies. Even though this is one of the very first steps by any car makers to implement Apple’s hardware on their cars, yet it is safe to say that this is not going to be the last one either.
