How to clean Junk files from your iOS Devices
As the popularity of revolutionary iOS devices are keep growing, more and more accessories manufacturers are coming out nearly every day with their creative ideas and products. Whether you are buying an expensive iPad case or simple iPhone screen protector, we all are purchasing all these in the name of protecting our devices from unexpected incidents. We also clean our devices every now and then but we tend to forget that there are some hidden junks pilling up every day on your favorite iOS devices which also needs to be cleaned to get the best performance out of our devices.
Let me be little more precise. On your favorite iPhone, iPod touch or iPad, you are using if not thousands then hundreds of applications. Nearly every single application creates temporary system files to work properly. Over a long period of time all these temporary files piles up and occupies precious space of your device which not only remains unused but also makes your device lot slower.
Today in this post, I will explain how you can clean up all these junk files from your devices. You should have known by now that normally it’s not possible to access your devices folder directories as you can do it on your computer. So, it’s nearly impossible to cleanup your device manually. Say Hello to “PhoneClean” software.
PhoneClean is a Windows based application program that can scan your device, build a list of junk files and erase them from your device in less than 5 minutes depending on how many applications you are using on your device. This application is very simple and you don’t need to be a hacker or something to perform this simple task. So, let’s get started.
Step 1: Go to the official website PhoneCleaner and download the software. Don’t worry, it’s free.
Step 2: Once done, install the software and launch the application.
Step 3: Connect your device with the computer using the USB cable. PhoneCleaner will automatically detect your device and will display the possible connected device that it has recognized.
Step 4: Click on “Start Scan” button and wait until the software finishes scanning your device.
Step 5: Once done with scanning, it will display amount (in Megabytes) of space that’s being occupied by temporary application files or junk files. Simply click on “Clean” button and you are done.
At this stage the software will start cleaning all those junk files. Once it completes its task, you will get a confirmation window where it states the amount of space successfully cleaned. As you can see from the screenshot, I saved 120MB plus disk space. This number would vary depending on certain factors like number of app installed on your device, how frequently you use apps and what kind of app you use etc. However, no matter how many and how frequently you use apps, this software is quite capable of cleaning all possible junk files.
So, this is pretty much it for today. I am pretty sure you will like these software and hope you find this post helpful. Stay tuned for more.
