Nokia Launched Windows Phone 8 based Lumia 820 and 920
Only couple of hours back in New York City, Nokia officially launched their latest Windows Phone 8 operating system based smartphones Lumia 820 and Lumia 920. These phones are being released at a time when Mobile industry is suffering from low volume of sales. On the other hand many Apple enthusiasts are still eagerly waiting for the upcoming iPhone 5.
Back to Nokia Lumia again. The newest Lumia 920 is pretty much the upgraded version of its predecessor Lumia 900. However, the screen (WXGA with Nokia’s PureMotion HD+) size of 920 is .2 inch bigger than the 900 models and also uses the faster Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 (1.5Ghz) processor. It is being reported that the newer 920 model’s display is nearly twice more responsive than any other phone display available in the market right now. The 920 model would be available in five different color which includes yellow, red, white black and grey. This phone also features a 8.7 megapixels camera with Carl Zeiss Tessar lens which is quite capable of recording 1080p vidoes. Don’t worry, you would have a front facing camera as well for video chat.
Now, I am really really excited about this new Lumia 820 model. This is a brand new model compare to all other Lumia series phones. It is bit smaller and thinner as well compare to 920 model. It has a 4.3 inch display which uses the same PureMotion HD+ technology. It has a 8 megapixel camera instead of 8.7 in 920 models. Internal capacity of this phone is only 1GB. However, you always have the option to expand its memory just by adding SD card (32GB Max.). This phone would be available in seven different color (white, black, red, yellow, cyan, purple, grey) or case. These cases are interchangeable.
One of the most noticeable, perhaps the best feature on these new Lumia phones is its wireless charging capability which something very new to mobile world. All you have to do is to buy an accessory backplate that supports wireless charging feature and you are ready to roll.
