Nikon released new Coolpix L610 HD Digital Camera
Nikon Corporation has announced the release of its new COOLPIX L series digital camera which is being called as L610. Today, on a news release Nikon has confirmed about the release of their new product. The L610 is the latest addition of Nikon’s L series models. Equipped with a 14x optical zoom lens, L610 was made emphasizing on simple functions and operations.
Apart from Nikon’s many high end digital camera and SLRs, this model stands out for some of its great features which can be found in SLRs mostly even couple of years back. It’s more like a hybrid version of their typical digital cameras. This little monster features a backside illumination CMOS sensor with 16 million of pixels which is quite capable of shooting great pictures.
Its lens-shit vibration reduction (VR), Target Finding AF features makes it even easier to point and shoot. Even though you wouldn’t be able to change the shutter speed and aperture manually but you would still enjoy some of its preset settings like easy auto mode, program auto, scene modes etc. Don’t worry you can use program auto modes to control the ISO and white balance.
If you love shooting videos, you can take the full advantage of its HD (1920 x 1080p/30 fps) video recording capability with excellent picture quality. Another great feature that must mention is that L610 supports both the AA alkaline and lithium batteries.
If everything goes according to the plan, consumers would be able to buy L610 by September for around $250. Well, you can expect little lower price tag if you want to purchase it during holiday season.
