Jobvite, introduces themselves as the “Leading recruitment platform for the social Web”, has recently published a survey reports which shows that 93% of job recruiters uses LinkedIn to find qualified candidates. This survey is being called as “Annual Social Recruiting Survey”. For the fifth time, Jobvite has successfully finished surveying and publishing their report starting from 2008.
Collected data shows that more and more companies are heavily relying on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to find the “Right Person” for their job positions. Within U.S., more than 92% of these companies are using LinkedIn as their target point and it has become the essential Human Resources (HR) practice for last couple of years. The report shows nearly five years back around 78% American companies used LinkedIn which is keep growing over the years.
Interestingly, other popular social media networks like Facebook and Twitter are also running behind LinkedIn and it seems like they are also playing a pretty big role on this so called “Social Recruiting” competition. According to the report, nearly 2/3 of all the companies have already embraced Facebook and Twitter to hire new employees.
