Only couple of hours back Popular iOS hacker @pod2g tweeted on the Recent development of Possible Untethered Jailbreak solution for A5 chip based devices. It includes the Apple’s latest Products like iPhone 4S and iPad 2. On his tweet he wrote “I made a step today for the A5. With some luck we could expect a release in a week.”
If @pod2g really become successful on his attempt to Jailbreak A5 devices, it will Definitely pave the way for many iPhone 4S and iPad 2 users to enjoy all the extra benefits that they can get from Cydia. However, since this is not the last Word from the iOS hackers community we still need to wait for the latest updates. @pod2g’s tweet is just the update of his Work on Untethered Jailbreak for A5 chip based devices.
If you are following our Posts on regular basis, you should know by now that back in November 2011, we posted an article on Tethered Jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 devices which excludes iPhone 4S and iPad 2.
However, couple of days back a member (@p0sixninja) from Chronic Dev Team tweeted that “Everyone should upgrade their devices to 5.0.1 (except unlockers) now while they still have a chance!!!” which also indicates the possible upcoming Jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 based devices that might include iPhone 4S and iPad 2.
Since Jailbreaking iOS doesn’t necessarily mean that it will also unlock your device, so software based Unlockers must wait till the final word comes out from he Developers. But I am confident that a successful Jailbreaking procedure for A5 devices will definitely lead us for Software Unlcok at some point. Till then just cross your fingers and Wait for the latest updates. Stay tuned for the latest news on this issue.
